Balsamic Salad Dressing

Here’s a delicious salad dressing that you can easily make at home. With just a few fresh ingredients you (probably) already have in your kitchen, it creates the perfect balance between tangy and sweet. Added bonus? It’s a great alternative to some of those “not so good for you” store bought dressings.

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 cups olive oil

2/3 cup balsamic vinegar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

 2 tsp light brown sugar

Lemon juice to taste (about a wedge and a half)

2 shakes of garlic salt with parsley

HOW TO MAKE:

Put dry ingredients into a bowl first and quickly stir together: Garlic, Salt, Pepper, Brown Sugar and Garlic Salt with Parsley

Add in wet ingredients: Balsamic, Olive Oil, Lemon Juice

Whisk both wet and dry ingredients together and store in refrigerator, covered.

*Best after stored in refrigerator overnight. Use within the week because there are no preservatives.

SHAKE, SERVE & ENJOY!
